Abstract:
The present invention provides a hematopoietic composition containing a composite medicinal herb extract, and a use thereof. The composition of the present invention can prevent and treat iron-deficiency anemia through the proliferation promotion of hematopoietic stem cells in hematopoietic organs without causing gastrointestinal disorders, such as constipation, which are side effects exhibited by conventional iron supplements. The composition of the present invention can improve in vivo oxygen transport (oxygen transfer efficiency to each cell) by increasing the number of in vivo red blood cells and the level of hemoglobin.
