Abstract:
A movable metal die (18) being held by a robot (22) is allowed to approach a vehicle
(12), and a positioning pin (62) is inserted into the positioning hole (65) in
the vehicle (12). The robot (22), while reducing a posture retaining force, sets
the movable metal die (18) in a floating state displaceable with respect to the
vehicle (12). With the robot (22) holding the movable metal die (18), the surface
(49a) of the movable metal die (18) is brought into contact with the vehicle (12)
by a suction mechanism (58) having an elastic suction portion (67a) provided
on the movable metal die (18). The movable metal die (18) is separated from the
robot (22).
