Abstract:
An HEPA dirt detection method and apparatus, the method comprising: when an air conditioner works normally, acquiring the air speed of an air inlet and the air speed of an air outlet of a high efficiency particulate air filter (HEPA) of the air conditioner; according to the air speed of the air inlet and the air speed of the air outlet, determining whether the HEPA is dirty; if the HEPA is dirty, after starting an air conditioner purification function, acquiring the content of harmful substances at the air inlet and the content of harmful substances at the air outlet of the HEPA; according to the content of harmful substances at the air inlet and the content of harmful substances at the air outlet, determining whether the HEPA needs to be cleaned; and when the HEPA needs to be cleaned, sending to a target user first cleaning reminding information. The present invention can automatically detect whether an HEPA is dirty and determine whether the HEPA needs to be cleaned, and if the HEPA needs to be cleaned, sends to a target user first cleaning reminding information; therefore, the target user can clean the HEPA in time, thereby having better user experience.
