• [0001] The invention relates to a nostrum against HIV and COVID-19. Roots of an Indian traditional medicinal plant are used against HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) and COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease in 2019). Cures completely the diseases by said nostrum within days, and cures after affects and after effects of such virus disease. The nostrum is the roots of an Indian traditional medicinal plant named Plumbagin (Plumbago zeylanica and Plambago indica are more useful in the species for medicine).1 to 3 grams of grinded said root need to have divided as 2 or 3 times daily for 15 days against COVID-19 and 30 days for against AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) to cures. The quantity of the grinded said roots (dosage) may vary as per the age, weight and health of the patient.

• [0006] The synonyms of fire like agnih, vahnih, dahanah, analah, etc. attributed to this drug, indicate the very caustic (burning) action of root, causing blisters on the skin. The drug is used after adequate curing and purification in most medicinal use. The roots are digestive stimulants and aid digestion. It is pungent astringent, diuretic, cough, worms and diseases due to vata and kapha predominance and haemorrhoidal anal inflammation and colic (cf. Ayurvedic Drugs and their plant sources, V.V. Shivarajan & Indirabalachandran, 1994: 1 19). The drug also cures enlargement of abdomen, anaemia, diabetes, leucoderma, leprosy, diarrhea, dyspepsia, anasarca and elephantiasis (cf. Roots is officinal part and it enters into the composition of preparations like Citrakasavam, Dasamularistam, Gulgulaticlekam kasayam, Yogerajachurnam, etc. • [0007] Three varieties of plambagos are there, and two varieties of plumbago are recognized by men of Ayurveda in Kerala and elsewhere, the red flowered and the white flowered. Among these, the white flowered variety, which is equated with Plumbago zeylanica Linn. (Plumbaginaceae), is used in medicine according to the many authors (Rheede, Hort. Malab. 10: 15, t. 8. 1690), (Kurup, et al., 1979: 52; Kapoor & Mitra, 1979: 61 ; Dey, 1980: 37; Sharma, 1983: 359). However, the red flowered variety, Plumbago indica Linn., is the accepted source of the drug in Kerala, (also see Rheede Hort. Malab. 10: 17-18, t.9. 1690 Schetti-coduveli) and is considered to be therapeutically more active.

• [0008] The said nostrum disclosed by the invention has introduce a very good herbal/Ayurvedic nostrum against HIV+ patients and COVID-19 patients to treat without side effect, and immunosuppressive therapies for the health workers with the daily use of the said nostrum. So it is recommended for health workers to take a small dose daily as immunization therapies and the said nostrum reduce the patient's hospitalization time and reduce the mortality. The advantage of the nostrum is that, there is no need more research and to find the side effects of the medicine and dosage because it is used as herbal or Ayurveda medicines for hundreds of years for plurality of diseases.

• Claim 2. The medicinal properties of plumbago Indica’s roots and leaves of the plumbagin used as immunosuppressive therapies against the HIV, COVID-19 and such viruses. It uses with or without any Ayurvedic/herbal medicine, any spices, any food or any ingredients against HIV and COVID- 19 as immunization medicine.
