Abstract:
This hermetic compressor comprises: a casing; a motor that is installed inside the casing and includes a rotor and a stator; a driving shaft that rotates as a single body with the rotor; a compression unit that is installed below the motor and compresses a refrigerant according to the rotation of the driving shaft, thereby discharging the refrigerant into the casing; and an oil blocking guide installed on the upper side of the motor to rotate as a single body with the rotor. The oil blocking guide includes: an oil blocking plate formed in a disk shape; an oil guide part extending outward and upward from the edge of the oil blocking plate; and a support part that separates the oil blocking plate from the rotor and connects the oil blocking plate to the driving shaft. The oil blocking plate and the oil guide part block the upward movement of oil passing through the motor and guide the oil to the inner circumferential surface of the casing using centrifugal force when the oil blocking guide rotates.
