Abstract:
Disclosed is a hermetic compressor wherein a compression mechanism unit (5), a high-pressure chamber (16) communicating with the compression mechanism unit (5) and a discharge port (2), a lubricant storage (17) disposed on the bottom of the high-pressure chamber (16), an oil pump (18) for supplying lubricant from the lubricant storage (17) to the compression mechanism unit (5), and a heater (20) for heating the lubricant, are provided in a hermetic container (3) provided with the discharge port (2). Thus, the viscosity of the lubricant can be maintained, and even if a single refrigerant or a mixed refrigerant mainly composed of hydrofluoroolefin having a double bond between carbons is used as a working fluid, the reliability of the compression mechanism unit can be prevented from decreasing.
