Title:
HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUND AND ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT DEVICE USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/015412
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is an organic electroluminescent device (organic EL device) of simple structure which is improved in luminous efficiency and sufficiently secured in driving stability. Also disclosed is a heterocyclic compound used for such an organic electroluminescent device. Specifically disclosed are a heterocyclic compound represented by the general formula (I) below, and an organic EL device containing such a compound in an organic layer. (I) In the formula, X1 and X2 respectively represent O, S or N-R; R represents a hydrogen, an alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; Ar1, Ar2, Ar3 and Ar4 respectively represent a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, and Ar1 and Ar2 may form a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring together with the nitrogen atom they are bonded with, and so may Ar3 and Ar4; and m and n respectively represent an integer of 1 or 2.
