Abstract:
In a wireless LAN system, a station (STA) receives a frame and updates a corresponding inter-basic service set (BSS) NAV or intra-BSS NAV based on whether the frame is an inter-BSS frame or intra-BSS frame. The inter-NAV is updated if the received frame can not be distinguished as being an inter-BSS frame or intra-BSS frame, and the corresponding NAV is reset if a CF-End frame is received after receiving a frame that can not be distinguished as being an inter-BSS frame or intra-BSS frame.
