Abstract:
The present invention provides a hexagonal boron nitride powder in which orientational anisotropy in a resin composition or a resin sheet is suppressed more than for a conventional hexagonal boron nitride powder and which has excellent thermal conductivity, a production method therefor, a resin composition and a resin sheet including the hexagonal boron nitride powder. In the hexagonal boron nitride powder, a content of primary particles having an average long diameter (L) of 10 µm or less, an average thickness (D) of 0.20 µm or more, a ratio (L/D) of the average long diameter (L) to the average thickness (D) of 3.0 or more to 5.0 or less, and a ratio (l/d) of a long diameter (l) to a thickness (d) of 3.0 or more to 5.0 or less, is 25% or more.
