Abstract:
Hexahydronaphtho (1',2': 4,5) imidazo (2,1-b) thiazole derivatives represented by following general formula (I): (FORMULA) (wherein X 1 and X2 each represent a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, R represents a hydrogen atom, lower alkyl group containing 1 - 4 carbon atoms, or carboxy-substituted lower alkyl group represented by -(CH2)nCOOH (n is an integer of 1 - 3), A, B, C, and D are signs for indicating respective rings, and the configuration of rings B and C is of trans type) and the acid addition salts thereof. Process for preparing them by reacting as follows: (FORMULA) wherein X3 represents a halogen atom. These compounds have an immunostimulative activity.
