State of the Art:

Many products are typically in use as coating for interior and exterior applications in our country and also over the world. Wood-based coatings, compact laminate coatings, werzalit coatings, stone, marble, granite and aluminum facade coatings, composite wall coating, plastic wall coating etc. can be given as examples.

When considered in terms of sustainability, woods really have a long life and are recyclable materials. Since the trees in forests have an essential role in decrease of carbon emission, woods are advantageous compared to materials such as concrete and steel which increase the carbon emission during their production. Additionally, apart from its unique characteristics such as easy processing, high resistance feature compared to intensity, countless color and pattern visuality, wood material has some undesired features during application. Those can be specified as resistance vulnerability against biological living creatures such as fungus, insects, bacteria and virus, and decrease in lifetime due to physical effects such as winds, light and humidity, and visual losses as result of chemical contacts such as acid rains and losing the initial qualifications as result of mechanical forces such as crushing, load carrying. However, methods offered by current technology provide new possibilities in restricting the effects of undesired features of wood materials. The most prominence of these methods is heat-treatment which can be applied to increase dimensional stability and natural durability for wood coating members.

Heat-treatment is a physical process resulting in permanent changes at chemical composition of polymer compounds of cell wall. Basic idea of the method is treating wood material by heat at temperatures approximately above 150 °C at which the chemical reactions are accelerated. The latest technology available in the period of historical modification of treating the wood by heat is a heat-treated wood type (ThermoWood) technology. By said technology, when the wood is heated up to 180 °C, it is protected by vapor against burning. Furthermore, vapor and heat implemented during production lead to several chemical changes in wood. As a result of this procedure a nature friendly, heat-treated wood type has come into being. As result of this process color of the wood changes and it becomes morestabile and rigid compared to a normal wood in varying dampness conditions.

Beside the heat-treated wood type technology, mounting/fastening systems are also developed for use in mounting of this technology. Fasteners developed for attachment of wood coatings used in miscellaneous exterior and interior wood mounting applications to each other and/or to frames are called as clip/fastening apparatus.

At the result of preliminary research about the state of the art, it has been found that the product named "impact slogging mounting clip" is only used on stiff woods, and slogged from side by means of plastic wedge without grooving the wood, and is not suggested to be used on soft woods.

At another result of preliminary research about the state of the art, it has been found that the product named "plastic wood clip" is disposed between two woods by such that there is 3 mm gap therebetween, wherein enlarging the gap is possible by adapting to wood via the knife used for grooving, wherein it offers frequently used solutions in application of wood products.

In the present art, components such as nail and screw are used as fastening components. Because of the operating principle of these components, i.e. they fix the material by passing through the materials to be fastened by applying pressure, wood is damaged and risk of cleavage is increased thus leading deformation of wood. Moreover, dislocation, loosening and corroding of nailing components in time depending on usage cause the wood to come loosen by being disconnected with the frame and to be damaged. Depending on dislocation of wood, there occurs noise during usage.

As a result, due to the above-mentioned problems and because of the inadequacy of the existing solutions, it has become necessary to make an improvement in the technical field.

Said invention relates to hidden clip system having two fixation systems, one of which has click-lock function and the other has pre-tension generating function, and ensuring that various types of kiln dried, raw and heat-treated woods used for interior and exterior applications are mounted on frames such that they are invisible from outside.

The subject matter hidden clip system is a modular system which is completely invisible from outer portions of wood coating applications and which is comprised of different sized clip and adaptor parts that can be attached to unused lower surface of wood which represses on frame.. This system is practical, fast, suitable for flexible use, providing rigidity from desired axis and preventing sliding.

To be able to mount the hidden clip, the unused lower surface of the wood repressing on frame is grooved, channeled via milling or grooving cutters. Axis openings and numbers of these grooves are determined based on respective architectural work. The grooves may have different axis measures and in numbers according to these sizes The subject matter hidden clip system can be chosen such that channel number is at least one and axis opening is 60 mm and can be developed according to these information.

Said hidden clip system is a system that does not embower architectural visuality and allows for hidden positioning by means of being fixed to the channel grooved on unused lower surface of wood of wood.

In the subject matter of hidden clip, the first fixation system includes two headed outer tabs (100) of which the outer tab recesses are opposite to each other that are on the outer side of the clip serve as click-lock function . Click-lock function prevents outwardly demounting of the wood. In order to efficiently fix wood to the frame by generating click lock function,, outer tabs are catty cornered/diagonally positioned to each other on the outer side of the clip.

The second fixation system includes two stud outwardly angled tabs (110) that generates pre-tension by forming angles in opposite directionto each other on the inner side of the clip. Stud outwardly angled tabs (1 10) provides pre-tensioning locking effect by generating force component pressing the wood downwardly after mounting. Also the stud outwardly angled tabs (1 10) ensures avoiding of planar sliding by connecting the wood to be overlapped with the axis line. Vertical force components of these stud outwardly angled tabs (1 10) designed angled in order to repress the wood and horizontal force components of these stud outwardly angled tabs (1 10) are in the direction to neutralize each other such that they do not create any tacking. This provides the operator comfortable and qualified mounting possibility during mounting. In order to efficiently fix wood to the frame by generating pre-tension, the angled tabs are catty cornered /diagonally positioned each other on the inner side of the clip. Rigid fixation is provided by creating the system generating pre-tension and thus preventing the wood to be dislocated, rattle and be deformed in time.

Said invention is to ensure that the system pertinacity generated by these two different functional fixation system has smooth transition such ensuring that edge protruding lips of grooved set and brittle/fragile structured wood are not broken during mounting.

Said hidden clip can easily be dried by creating air circulation between the frame and the hidden clip by means of air ducts/channels it has.

The most common three width sizes in wood coating/sheating members are 90, 1 15 and 130 mm. These sizes are the most commonly used cross sectional width values of natural wood used for interior and exterior architectural applications. However, these values of wood coating/sheating member can be adapted to various sizes optionally/as per request.Cross sectional thickness values of the wood coating/sheating members are also important as well as the width values. These thicknesses, optionally as 21 , 26, 32 mm, are flexibly adjustable thickness values in order not to waste wood during process.

Hidden clips are diversified as single clip (111) and dual clip (112). The single clip (1 1 1 ) is used for mounting of wood coating/sheating members of 40 mm width, and the dual clip (1 12) is used with the same functionality for mounting of members having 90, 1 15 and 130 mm widths. These sizes are determined with the purpose of mounting rigidity, invisibility from outside and avoiding the plastic material wastage. However, manufacturing according to sizes of different wood systems used is also possible. In the case that wide wood is enforced against lateral and angled loads during mounting and usage, noises due to air space can be generated and there are possible risks that can occur as a result of corrosion occurred due to usage and exterior environment conditions. In order to eliminate these risks, dual clip system should be used on wide woods.

The subject matter clip system comprises adaptors, unique to the clip, which ensure preventing size/pitch deviation and the tacking in parallel frame systems having various heights while mounting dual clip (1 12) to each other. The adaptors are developed with the aim of mounting dual clip (1 12) systems to each other, and are diversified to be in various heights (90 mm, 1 15 mm and 130 mm) and structures for the clip systems in which they are to be used. Adaptors are diversified as adaptor of 90 (113), adaptor of 115 (114), adaptor of 130 (115) as per their measurements. By means of these three different sizes of adaptors, clips are secured to the frame in equal distances and parallelism thereby intermediate spaces are ensured to be in desired level and smoothness.

The subject matter clip system is made of polyamide 6 (PA) material and contains additive-free pigment. This material has glass transition temperature. Furthermore, it is preferred due to the fact that it can give an efficient performance even in cases of sudden exchanges of temperature and/or in severe exterior environment conditions, and that it is 100% recyclable and environment friendly product. Polyamide 6 (PA) does not release smoke when subjected to high temperatures and does not lead to undesired conditions such as releasing toxic gases when flamed up.

The subject matter clip system is a modular system comprised of clip and adaptor parts. This system has the characteristic of being suitable for multi-purpose usage, and of ensuring rigidity that is practical, fast and can be from any desired axis, and of preventing sliding, wherein it can be comfortably used for various interior and exterior decoration of architectural applications such as deck, facade and ceiling depending on desire, and both on wood and aluminum frames.
