PATENT CLAIM

The hydroelectric plant with the indirect filling of hydro-accumulation comprising of a single or multiple pumps operated by the classical mill wheel or other kind of turbines, hoses or conduits through which water is pumped to the hydro-accumulation, hydro-accumulation and classical hydroelectric plant, indicated by that the hydro-accumulation is filled through mechanical pumps that are motivated by the energy generated from the water course.

Description:

HIDROELECTRIC PLANT WITH INDIRECT FILLING OF HYDRO-ACCUMULATION

1) FIELD OF TECHNICS TO WHICH THE INVENTION REFERS

This invention refers to hydroelectric plant and according to the international classification it is classified as: E02B 9/00.

2) TECHNICAL ISSUE

In order to construct a classical hydroelectric plant on the water course, it is required that the course has a certain fall on a relatively short route so that the constructing of the barrier (dam) would result in two levels of water between whom there should be a difference of potentials (Ep =mgδh) achieved. Such an approach enables utilization, of the energy generated from the water courses only exceptionaly, while most of them have no future, especially those of large plains' rivers. The question imposed is whether it is possible to take more energy out of water courses and transform it into electrical power.

3) STATE OF TECHNICS

Current hydroelectric plants are constructed in such a manner that the water course is dammed on the positions where there is a certain fall within a short distance. Thanks to that, one achieves two levels of water, before and after the dam, between whom there exists a certain potential, The feasible energy of accumulated water is Ep=mgδh, and the principle of storing of water within the hydro-accumulation is that the water flows in naturally.

4) EXPLANATION OF ESSENCE OF THE INVENTION

(so that the technical issue and its solution may be comprehended and citing technical news of the invention in reference with the previous state of technology)

The primary goal of the inventions is to use the energy of water courses better, primarily there where there is no sufficiently large fall within a short distance. The secondary goal is to reduce environmental damage which comes as the result of the damming of the river.

The hydroelectric plant with the indirect filling of hydro-accumulation, in terms of this invention, includes single or multiple pumps operated by the force of water course through a classical mill wheel or other turbines which pump a share of water from the water course through the hoses (conduits) into the hydro-accumulation. In this way the kinetic energy of the water course accumulates within the hydro-accumulation. After that, it can be used in the same way as in the case of classical hydroelectric plant.

Thus it is possible to take away the surplus of kinetic energy of water course which provides a much greater degree of the utilization of the same.

The hydro-accummulation itself and the hydroelectric plant do not have to be positioned on the water course which reduces the costs of their construction.

As. the river is not dammed, the environmental damages are less.

5) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE PICTURE

The attached picture that is included in the description which is a part of the description of invention illustrates the method for implementation of invention and helps explaning of the basic principles of invention.

Looking at the picture, there can be seen that the hydroelectric plant with the indirect filling of hydro-accumulation includes a single or multiple mechanic pumps (1) which is operated by a classical mill wheel or other kind of turbines (2) which for pumping out of water of the water course uses the power of the water course itself. The pump is, through a hose (3), connected to the hydo-accuimulation (4) in which it pumps a share of water from the water course. The hydroelectric plant (5) then, in a classical way, utilizes water from the hydro-accumulation.

6) DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF AT LEAST ONE OF THE METHODS OF ACCOMPLISHING OF THE INVENTION

Now the details of the proposed accomplishement of the invention whose one example has already been illustsated by the associated picture, are stated below.

Looking at the picture, there can be seen that the hydroelectric plant with the indirect filling of hydro-accumulation includes a single or multiple mechanic pumps (1) which, is operated by a classical mill wheel or other kind of turbines (2) which for pumping out of water of the water course uses the power of the water course itself. The pump is, through a hose (3), connected to the hydo-accumulation (4) in which it pumps a share of water from the water course. The hydroelectric plant (5) then, in a classical way, utilij.es water from the hydro-accumulation.

7) METHOD OF APPLICATION OF INVENTION

In that way, the invention provides rational utilization of kinetic energy of plains' large water courses forproduction of electricity without major environmental damage. The inventions is possible to be implemented on economical basis and it assumes an entirely new approach in utilization of energy of water courses for production of electricity. In this invention, the experts will, probably, recognize possibility of introducting numerous amendments and alterations within, the hydroelectric plant with the indirect filling of hydro-accumulation.
