Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a composition for inhibiting HIFs and effectively improving related diseases and abnormalities in the eye. Provided is an HIF inhibitory composition containing at least one selected from the group consisting of hydroxycitric acid or salts thereof, Garcinia cambogia and an extract thereof, lactoferrin, carrots and an extract thereof, pyridoxine and salts thereof, and oleanolic acid and salts thereof. Also provided are a retina protection composition, an anti-aging composition for the eye, a VEGF inhibitory composition for the eye, a neovascularization inhibitory composition for the eye, a composition for maintaining the homeostasis of vascular tissues in the eye, and a composition for reducing the risk of, preventing and treating a disease in the posterior segment of the eye which contain the above component.
