Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a high barrier RGO-SiO2/PET protective film. In the method, graphene oxide, aluminum powder, tetramethoxysilane, terephthalic acid, ethylene glycol, antimonous oxide, and ammonium phosphate are used as raw materials; tetramethoxysilane is used to grow in situ on the surface of graphene oxide, which is then reduced by using aluminum powder and is combined with ethylene glycol to form a graphene oxide-supported silica/ethylene glycol coordination compound, same is then polymerized with terephthalic acid in situ to obtain a high barrier RGO-SiO2/PET modified masterbatch, the masterbatch is then mixed with a PET resin to obtain a high barrier RGO-SiO2/PET protective film. The protective film prepared by the described method has excellent barrier properties, prevents oxygen and water vapor in the air from entering the inside of the protective film, prevents an item requiring protection from deterioration due to oxidation, and may become a substitute having better performance in the fields of packaging, food preservation and so on.
