Abstract:
A high brightness liquid crystal writing device, comprising: at least two display material layers, comprising cholesteric liquid crystals; at least one intermediate support layer, disposed between every two display material layers; and erasure conductive layers separately disposed on the two sides of each display material layer. When at least a portion of each erasure conductive layer on two sides of the display material layer is separately connected to erasure voltage signals, an electric field is formed between connected parts of the two erasure conductive layers, and writing marks in areas of the relatively coated display material layers are erased. Therefore, according to the present invention, while the scheme of double display material layers in the prior art is retained (but the present invention is not limited to the double layers), the two erasure conductive layers are separately located on both sides of each display material layer for aiming at independent erasure for the display material layers to solve the problem of excessive erasure voltage, moreover, incident light can be double reflected by means of two or more display material layers, and the effect of enhancing the brightness is realized.
