Title:
HIGH CAMP YIELDING YEAST STRAIN AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/139959
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed are a high cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) yielding yeast strain and a construction method therefor. The method comprises constructing Saccharomyces cerevisiae deficient in both protein kinase A catalytic subunit encoding genes TPK1, TPK2, TPK3 and protein kinase encoding gene YAK1. The method also comprises further deleting phosphodiesterase encoding gene PDE1 and the encoding genes of transcription factors Bas1 and Bas2 in the yeast strain on the basis of the deletion of the four genes mentioned above. The recombinant yeast strain can produce extracellular cAMP more efficiently in relation to a yeast strain without genetic modifications.
