Abstract:
A high definition image display based on the link between a server (1) and a client (5) for displaying a huge high-definition image on a computer display, and including a means for dividing and compressing an image on the server (1) into a matrix form and storing them as encoded data in several stages of resolution and an input means which allows the operator to visually perform such operations as specifying the image to be displayed on the screen of the client (5), zooming and scrolling.
