Abstract:
The present invention relates to a high dynamic range image technique and, more particularly, to a high dynamic range image viewer capable of high-speed image processing in real time and a method for processing an image thereof. In other words, the present invention relates to an HDR image processing method comprising: setting an exposure value of a reference image selected among original image data, as a reference exposure value; creating at least one lookup table including multiple exposure correction values varied from the set reference exposure value; creating at least one weight factor using the multiple exposure correction values which constitute the reference exposure value and the look up table; creating a composite gain value using the created at least one weight factor; and creating an HDR image by using the composite gain value, and an HDR image viewer using the above method.
