Abstract:
A high-efficiency radio frequency power amplifier (100), comprising a first-stage power amplification circuit (11), an inter-stage balun matching network (12), a second-stage power amplification circuit (13) and an output balun matching network (14), which are sequentially connected. The first-stage power amplification circuit (11) is a single-path amplification circuit, the second-stage power amplification circuit (13) is a differential amplification circuit, the inter-stage balun matching network (12) comprises a spiral line balun (T1) and a first capacitor (C1), and the output balun matching network (14) comprises a coupling line balun (T2) and a second capacitor (C2), wherein the first capacitor (C1) is connected to a center tap of the spiral line balun (T1), and the second capacitor (C2) is connected to a center tap of the coupling line balun (T2). The conversion from a single-end mode to a differential mode can be realized by means of an inter-stage balun matching network (12), and the conversion from the differential mode to the signal-end mode can be realized by means of an output balun matching network (14). By means of the method, the efficiency of a radio frequency power amplifier can be improved.
