Abstract:
In order to provide a thermoelectric conversion unit in which power generation with high thermoelectric conversion efficiency is possible, a thermoelectric conversion unit has a plurality of thermoelectric conversion modules (1 - 3) constituted of a plurality of pairs of n type and p type thermoelectric conversion materials connected by electrodes and hot water pipes (201) and cold water pipes (202) for applying a temperature difference to the thermoelectric conversion modules and generating power by the Seebeck effect, and at least one of the plurality of thermoelectric conversion modules is different from the other thermoelectric conversion modules in terms of at least one of the thickness of the thermoelectric conversion materials, the type of material, or the thickness of the electrodes.
