Abstract:
The aim of the present invention is to provide a high-emission-angle lens adapted to allow a lens having high emission angle properties to be made and to allow a thin-form flat lighting device to be constituted while at the same time saving on costs by constituting the lens as a spherical surface instead of a conventional semi-spherical surface, this being achieved through an increase in the angle of emission of light by using the spherical lens in the lens of a flat lighting device which is used during backlighting with LCDs or the like.
