Abstract:

Disclosed is a high-energy ignition system having energy storage and shunting devices, comprising an ECU, an ignition switch, an ignition coil, a high-voltage energy storage device, and a high-voltage diversion device; the ignition switch, high-voltage energy storage device, and high-voltage shunting device all are electrically connected to the ECU; the high-voltage shunting device comprises several high-voltage switches electrically connected to the high-voltage energy storage device; when one of the high-voltage switches is activated, the high-voltage energy storage device freewheels a current to the secondary winding of the ignition coil corresponding to the high-voltage switch. The number of high-voltage switches is the same as the number of ignition switches and ignition coils; the primary winding of each ignition coil corresponds to an ignition switch, and the secondary winding is correspondingly connected to a high-voltage switch. On the basis of a mainstream ignition system, the present invention has an added high-voltage energy storage part and high-voltage shunting part, which provide high-voltage freewheeling to all ignition coils in the system, solving the problem of the ignition energy of current ignition coils being insufficient; thus the electrical discharge time is extended, ignition energy is increased, the likelihood of misfire is reduced, combustion efficiency is improved, emissions are reduced, and power output is increased.
