A high expansion thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) microporous foam sheet, comprising the following components: 70-100 parts by weight of TPU, and 0-30 parts by weight of polydimethylsiloxane. The advantages of the high expansion thermoplastic polyurethane microporous foam sheet are that a small amount of polydimethylsiloxane mixed in the TPU greatly accelerates the diffusion velocity of the supercutical fluid in the TPU and shortens the diffusion equilibrium time of the supercutical fluid in the TPU, due to the higher solubility of the supercutical fluid in the polydimethylsiloxane and the lower interfacial tension of the polydimethylsiloxane. The volume of the mould cavity is slightly larger than that of the TPU sheet, and a mould of a breathable metal material is laid on a surface of the mould, so that the supercutical fluid can synchronously diffuse into the TPU sheet through the upper surface and the lower surface of the TPU sheet. Compared with the supercutical fluid only diffusing into the TPU sheet through the upper surface, the diffusion distance and the diffusion equilibrium time are shortened, and the production efficiency is improved. In addition, further provided is a method for producing the high expansion thermoplastic polyurethane microporous foam sheet.
