Abstract:
A high frequency heating apparatus includes a heating chamber (3) that has an opening, an opening peripheral edge part (6) that is positioned at the peripheral edge of the opening, a door (5) that covers the opening and the opening peripheral edge part (6), a high frequency generator that generates a high frequency wave to be supplied to the heating chamber (3), and a choke groove (32) that is provided in a position at the door (5) facing the opening peripheral edge part (6), and that is partitioned by a conductor, and moreover that has an aperture (31) provided facing the opening peripheral edge part (6). The choke groove (32) has a plurality of slits that are formed in a direction perpendicular to the surface forming the opening peripheral part (6) and that are arranged in the lengthwise direction of the choke groove (32), and a dividing part positioned so as to divide at least one of the plurality of slits in the longitudinal direction of the slits.
