Abstract:
This high-frequency heating device comprises: a high-frequency power generating unit that generates microwaves; a surface wave line formed of a conductive material; a power supply unit that is connected to the high-frequency power generating unit; and a loop antenna that is disposed on the tip end of the power supply unit and that is disposed facing the end of the surface wave line. According to this embodiment, high input-impedance is maintained and a reduction in radiation resistance can be prevented. As a result, the size of the power supply unit can be reduced, and efficient surface wave heating can be carried out.
