Abstract:
Provided is a high-frequency module having a small filter circuit that has exceptional attenuation characteristics outside the passband.
The phase and amplitude of a high-frequency signal distributed from a connection conductor between filter elements are changed by transmission from an extraction circuit unit. The transmission distance of an extraction circuit unit is set so that the phase of a suppression signal is substantially the reverse of the phase of a signal to be suppressed, and the amplitude of the suppression signal is substantially the same as the phase of the signal to be suppressed, where the suppression signal is a high-frequency signal in a third external connection terminal, and the signal to be suppressed is a high-frequency signal passing through a filter circuit. The suppression signal is combined with the signal to be suppressed by the third external connection terminal and a second external connection terminal being connected. This allows components outside the passband to be cancelled out by the action of combining, and the attenuation characteristics to improve in the filter circuit.
