Abstract:
This high-frequency treatment device is configured such that: a first grasping section (15) and a second grasping section can be opened and closed relative to each other; a lumen (71) is formed within the first grasping section (15); the first grasping section (15) is provided with an electrode (32) located on the side of the first grasping section (15), which closes against the lumen; and the electrode surface (42) of the electrode (32) is extended from the base end of the first grasping section (15) to the front end thereof while facing the second grasping section. The first grasping section (15) is configured such that: a front end wall (53) faces the front edge (47) of the electrode surface from the front end side; a gap (72) between the front edge (47) of the electrode surface and the front end wall (53) is in communication with the lumen; and the gap (72) opens toward the side toward which the first grasping section (15) closes.
