Abstract:
This high-frequency treatment instrument is equipped with an electrode having an outer surface, such that by supplying high-frequency electrical energy to the electrode, a high-frequency current is imparted through the outer surface of the electrode to an object being treated. The outer surface of the electrode is coated with a coating that is formed, in an energized state, from a mixture of a non-conductive material and a conductive material. The conductive material included in the mixture that forms the coating is provided with a first component and a second component having a shape that is different than that of the first component.
