Abstract:
Disclosed are a high glow wire PPS composition, a preparation method therefor, and an application thereof. The composition comprises the following components in parts by weight: PPS resin 30-98 parts; glass fiber 20-70 parts; brominated epoxy resin 3-20 parts; and antioxidant 0.1-2 parts. By adding the brominated epoxy resin having relatively good compatibility, by virtue of the fact that the decomposition temperature of the brominated epoxy resin is lower than that of the PPS resin, the brominated epoxy resin carries away heat during decomposition so as to increase the high glow wire of the PPS composition. The measured value of the high glow wire ignition temperature of the described composition can reach 825°C without catching fire, and the notched impact strength thereof is greater than or equal to 8 KJ/m2.
