Abstract:
The present invention relates to a high heat resistance composite separator for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery including same. The high heat resistance composite separator includes: a porous base material having a plurality of pores; an inorganic coating layer applied on one surface of the porous base material and including a plurality of inorganic particles and a binder polymer that is disposed on a portion or the entire surface of each of the inorganic particles to connect and fix the inorganic particles to each other; and a high heat resistant polymer coating layer formed on the other surface of the porous base material and including inorganic particles dispersed into the high heat resistance polymer.
