Abstract:

Provided is a high-insulating film having high electrical properties (breakdown voltage), excellent heat resistance and excellent handling properties such as winding performance and processability. The high-insulating film is a biaxially stretched film comprising, as the main constituent, a styrene-based polymer having a syndiotactic structure, said film containing specific inert microparticles (A), an antioxidant and a polymer (Y) having a glass transition temperature (Tg) measured by DSC of 130oC or higher, each at a specific content, and having a refractive index in the thicknesswise direction of 1.5750 to 1.6350 inclusive.
