Abstract:
A high intensity focused ultrasound probe according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a transducer module including a plurality of transducer elements which receive an input of an electrical signal to generate ultrasound waves; and a circuit which provides a driving signal to the plurality of transducer elements on the basis of a control signal input from a control system, wherein the plurality of transducer elements having a concave shape in the direction of a first axis, which is the focusing direction of ultrasound waves, are arranged in an array in the direction of a second axis perpendicular to the first axis with kerfs therebetween, and at least two different elements among the plurality of transducer elements are configured to emit high intensity focused ultrasound waves at different times on the basis of the driving signal.
