Abstract:
Provided is a high-melting-point polyamide resin composition that has excellent vibration resistance characteristics, i.e., has an extremely high resonance frequency and can particularly maintain a high resonance frequency even upon water absorption. This polyamide resin composition comprises a polyamide resin (A) that has a melting point (Tm) of from 290°C to 350°C and a heating crystallization temperature (Tc1) of from 80 to 150°C, and glass fibers (B) having a cross-sectional area of from 1.5 to 5.0×10-6 cm2, wherein: the weight ratio ((A):(B)) between said polyamide resin (A) and said glass fibers (B) is from 20:80 to 35:65; and said polyamide resin (A) is a copolymerized polyamide including (a) 55 to 75 mol% of a constituent unit obtained from an equimolar salt of hexamethylene diamine and terephthalic acid, and (b) 45 to 25 mol% of a constituent unit obtained from 11-aminoundecanoic acid or undecane lactam.
