HIGH PERFORMANCE CHIMNEY TRAY FOR A FIXED BED REACTOR

The present invention relates to a chimney tray for a fixed bed reactor, and more particularly, has the aim of providing a chimney tray in which a gaseous reactant and a liquid reactant are well mixed to improve the dispersion performance of the liquid reactant in a catalyst layer of the fixed bed reactor, to thus improve the contact efficiency between the liquid reactant and a catalyst thanks to the uniformity of the flow of the liquid reactant, and to consequently improve reaction efficiency. To accomplish the above aim, the chimney tray of the present invention comprises: a tray having a plurality of through-holes; and a chimney which is vertically inserted into the through-holes and which has one or more outlet ports penetrating therethrough and facing each other, wherein the chimney has a conical lower end which extends toward the lower portion of the tray and has an angle of 10 to 40 degrees with respect to the direction of the normal of the tray. Thus, excellent dispersion performance and enhanced reaction efficiency can be achieved.
