Abstract:
The present invention provides a high-power optical element street lamp using a thermocouple so as to sharply reduce the amount of power consumption required when the street lamp is turned on and to minimize the cost of power. The high-power optical element street lamp using a thermocouple comprises: a body part which is fixedly installed on a ground surface and is formed to be elongated upward; a lamp head part which is provided to face a downward ground surface at a position spaced forward from the upper end of the body part; and a power supply part which is fixedly installed on the body part, supplies power to the lamp head part, and applies energy required for driving so as to enable operation control, wherein the lamp head part comprises: a circuit board which is connected to the power supply part to receive power and to operate, and is made of a metal material having high thermal conductivity; one or more optical elements which are installed and located on a lower surface of the circuit board; a molding cover which is connected to the lamp head part from a lower side of the optical element, and protects and supports the optical element; and a heat-radiating plate which is installed on top of the circuit board, and is provided with a plurality of heat-radiating fins to radiate heat generated and transferred from the optical element and circuit board. Here, the heat-radiating plate includes a thermocouple, which is disposed in a grid pattern on the surface of each heat-radiating fin to convert radiated heat into a form of thermo-electromotive force and forms contact points, at which two types of metals having different thermal conductivities intersect with each other, to generate thermoelectric current.
