Abstract:
A high-precision automatic welding robot. The robot comprises four parts as follows: an X-axis motion unit, a Y-axis motion unit, a Z-axis motion unit and a welding unit. According to the welding robot, high-precision three-dimensional motion units are provided to replace a traditional mechanical arm, thereby improving the motion precision of the robot; view collection by a CCD camera and three-dimensional modeling are added to directly acquire an actual parameter of a fixed object to be welded, thereby reducing the error between a manual input parameter and the actual size thereof; and a gap detector performs information collection on different welding areas to correct a welding process, thereby improving the welding progress rate. The present invention further relates to a welding method of a high-precision automatic welding robot. According to the method, a control terminal performs three-dimensional modeling on an object to be welded and directly outputs motion information to a motion mechanism in the form of vectors so as to control the motion trajectory of a welding gun, thereby solving the problem that the existing welding robot has a low precision during a welding process and cannot make corrections according to the specific working environment.
