Abstract:
Provided is a high-pressure fuel supply pump in which the strength of a flange can be increased without increasing plate thickness. A flange 13 is provided with a step section 13b1 (first step section), a step section 13b2 (second step section), and a flat section 13e1 (first surface section). The step section 13b1 protrudes in a direction away from a fuel pump attachment section 90 on the outer periphery of the flange 13. The step section 13b2 protrudes in a direction away from the fuel pump attachment section 90 on the outer periphery of the flange 13 and faces the step section 13b1 across a pump body 1. The flat section 13e1 (first surface section) is located between the step section 13b1 and the step section 13b2 and is flat from the pump body 1 to one end of the flange 13.
