Abstract:
Provided is a high pressure hose that has excellent impact durability while using a steel cord having steel filaments twisted around a reinforcing material. The high pressure hose does not simultaneously fulfil a first condition and a second condition. Under the first condition: the winding direction for the steel cord in the Nth (N ≥ 1) steel cord reinforced layer and the winding direction for the steel cord in the (N + 1)th steel cord reinforced layer are different from each other; and the winding direction for the steel cord in the first steel cord reinforced layer 11a and the twisting direction for the outermost layer steel filament in the steel cord in the first steel cord reinforced layer 11a are different from each other. Under the second condition the twisting direction for the outermost layer steel filament in the steel cord in the first steel cord reinforced layer 11a and the twisting direction for the outermost layer steel filament in the steel cord in the second steel cord reinforced layer 11b are the same.
