Abstract:
Provided is a high-pressure hose with which the pressure resistance can be effectively improved while suppressing changes in the dimensions of the hose when internal pressure is acting thereupon. Three or more reinforcing layers 3 are stacked concentrically between an inner-surface layer 2 and an outer-surface layer 5 that are also stacked concentrically. The average braiding angle, which is the average of the braiding angles of the reinforcing layers 3, is set between 53.5° and 55.5°, and the braiding angles are set so as to increase toward the outer-perimeter braiding layer 3. The breaking elongation of reinforcing wires 4a forming the innermost reinforcing layer 3a is between 3.0% and 4.0% so that the breaking strength is 500N or greater. The breaking elongation of reinforcing wires 4b-4d forming the reinforcing layers 3b-3d other than the innermost reinforcing layer is 2.0% or greater and less than 3.0% so that the breaking strength is 500N or greater.
