Provided is a high-pressure hydrogen vessel that suppresses damage caused by diffusion of hydrogen into a metallographic structure. A high-pressure hydrogen vessel according to the present invention comprises a metal cylinder for storing high-pressure hydrogen, and a lid member that covers an end section of the cylinder. The cylinder comprises a joining section for fixing the lid member to the end section in a center axis direction of the cylinder, a cylindrical section that serves as an outer shell of a storage section storing the high-pressure hydrogen, and a sealing surface that is positioned between the joining section and the cylindrical section in the center axis direction and is formed on an inner surface of the cylinder. The lid member comprises a sealing section that contacts the sealing surface of the cylinder, and a fixing section that is fixed to the joining section of the cylinder.
