In this high-pressure pump, a relief valve seat (612) is annularly formed around the circumference of an opening (683) of a relief valve passage (68) in a valve-seat-part main body (61), said opening being at the side of a first space (105). A relief valve member (80) is provided with a relief valve main body (81) and a relief valve seat part (82). The relief valve main body is formed into a rod shape. The relief valve seat part is integrally formed with the relief valve main body at one end thereof so as to be capable of coming into contact with the relief valve seat. The relief valve member is provided in the first space so as to be capable of reciprocal movement in the axial direction. A relief valve impelling member (89) impels the relief valve member towards the side of the relief valve seat. A support part (90) is provided with a support part main body (91) which supports, in a slidable manner, the outer wall of the relief valve main body so as to guide the reciprocal movement of the relief valve member in the axial direction. As a result, change in the valve opening pressure of the relief valve member over time can be suppressed.
