Abstract:
A perfluorotripropylamine (PFTPA) preparation apparatus and method using electrochemical fluorination (ECF) are disclosed. The preparation method according to one embodiment comprises: a preparation step of preparing PFTAA from a mixture solution of tripropylamine (TPA) and hydrogen fluoride (HF) by using ECF; a separation step of separating out PFTPA prepared from the mixture solution of TPA and hydrogen fluoride; and a moisture-removal step of removing the moisture contained in the prepared PFTPA. In the moisture-removal step, moisture can be removed by adding calcium hydride (CaH2) and/or magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) to the prepared PFTPA, and then stirring same, or moisture can be removed by adding, to the prepared PFTPA, a molecular sieve with pores of a predetermined size and/or a silica gel, and then stirring same.
