Abstract:
An electromagnetic power-off brake, comprising: a cover plate (6), wherein the cover plate (6) and an iron core (1) are mutually fixed, and the cover plate (6) and the iron core (1) are supported by means of several equal-height columns (7); an armature (9) arranged between the iron core (1) and the cover plate (6), wherein the armature (9) is provided with a through hole (10) matching the outer diameters of the equal-height columns (7) and is connected between the iron core (1) and the cover plate (6) in a sliding manner, and the other ends of several compression springs (4) abut against one end face of the armature (9); and a brake disk (11) arranged between the armature (9) and the cover plate (6), wherein a friction plate hole (23) for a friction plate (14) to penetrate is provided in the brake disk (11), the thickness of the brake disk (11) is smaller than the thickness of the friction plate (14), the friction plate (14) loosely matches the interior of the friction plate hole (23), and an upper end face and a lower end face of the friction plate (14) which act to create friction protrude respectively out of two end faces of the brake disk (11). When a coil winding (2) is powered on, the brake disk (11) freely rotates between the armature (9) and the cover plate (6); and when the coil winding (2) loses power, the upper end face and the lower end face of the friction plate (14) are respectively in pressing friction contact with the cover plate (6) and the armature (9). By means of the arrangement, parallel contact between the friction plate and the armature and the cover plate can be ensured, a sufficient amount of friction torque can be provided, the braking performance is good, the response speed is high, and the reliability is high.
