Abstract:
A high-reliability micro switch comprises a base (1) and an upper cover (2) mounted on the base (1). Three metal terminals (3) run through and are fixed in the base (1). Lower ends of the metal terminals (3) extend outside the base (1), and upper ends of the metal terminals (3) extend outside a position above the base (1). Elastic conductive sheets (4) are mounted on the upper ends of the metal terminals (3). The metal terminals (3) are a common terminal (31), a normally-open terminal (32), and a normally-closed terminal (33). One end of each elastic conductive sheet (4) is clipped to the upper end of the common terminal (31), and the other end of the elastic conductive sheet (4) is in contact with the normally-closed terminal (33) by means of the deformation of the other end. The thickness of the upper end of the common terminal (31) is greater than that of the lower end of the common terminal (31). The length of the portions of the elastic conductive sheets (4) that are clipped to the common terminal (31) is greater than the thickness of the lower end of the common terminal (31). By increasing the thicknesses of the metal upper ends, the portions of the metal terminals (3) that are clipped to the movable conductive sheets (4) are wider, and accordingly, the stability of the movable conductive sheets (4) is improved, the movable conductive sheets (4) can be effectively prevented from leaving positions thereof, and contact areas between the movable conductive sheets (4) and the normally-open terminal (32) and the normally-closed terminal (33) are increased, thereby improving the reliability of the electric contact. The service life the micro switch can be greater than 20 million times. In the structure, size specifications of the metal terminals (3) are maintained, thereby improving the compatibility between the micro switch and existing circuits in mounting.
