Abstract:
To allow maintenance of a building that uses a raising/lowering scaffold to be performed without restrictions on the stability of a mast or the position where the mast is erected. A securing member (130) elevated above the ground (500) is provided to a side wall (101) of a building (100). Securing metal fittings (132) are provided to the securing member (130). A mast (200) is erected on the securing member (130), and the bottom end of the mast (200) is secured to the securing metal fittings. A scaffold (210) for raising and lowering the mast (200) is attached to the mast (200), and a worker performs maintenance work thereon.
