Abstract:
A heat treatment device of the invention comprises a high speed oven which includes a turntable mechanism and heat treats food by means of jet impingement of heated air and microwave radiation in combination or singly, and is provided with a safety device and an exhaust device. The constitution according to the invention provides a turntable mechanism capable of favorably rotating the turntable provided at its center with an opening, through which hot air and microwave pass, a limit mechanism capable of releasing an overload on the turntable only by means of a mechanical action, a heat treatment device provided with inclined portions on upper and lower plates of a heating chamber so as to enable uniform baking by the use of jet impingement heating, a fan guard provided with a switch actuating means which serves, when securedly mounted in the heating chamber, to actuate a hot air generation permitting switch provided outside the heating chamber, a heat treatment device permitting easy connection of exhaust cylinders even when stacked in layers and a turntable driving mechanism for preventing a pollutant from flowing between a coupling shaft and bearings.
