Abstract:
A high-strength aluminum alloy rod for use in a vehicle fastener and a manufacturing method for the rod. The high-strength aluminum rod: remelted aluminum ingot of 99.85% purity 93-96 parts, silicon 1.0-1.8 parts, magnesium 0.8-1.4 parts, manganese 0.55-1.3 parts, titanium 0.01-0.3 parts, zinc 0.1-0.7 parts, zirconium 0.1-0.3 parts, erbium 0.05-0.5 parts, and silver 0.05-0.4 parts. The method comprises: step one, melting remelted aluminum ingot of 99.85% purity, silicon, magnesium, manganese, titanium, zinc, zirconium, erbium, and silver, refining the molten aluminum solution, eliminating hydrogen gas and suspended particles; and step two, casting the molten aluminum solution of step one, employing a continuous casting machine combining a steel belt and a wheel-type copper mold for casting, employing four-sided fan-shaped water spraying for cooling of the continuous casting machine, the water flow being greater than or equal to 10b m3/h, and the casting temperature being controlled at 695 ± 3 °C.
