Abstract:
A high strength aluminum alloy wheel, comprising a rim and spokes; the rim and/or the spokes are made from an aluminum alloy material; the mass percentage of the Cu element in the aluminum alloy material is greater than 1%. After being heat-treated, an aluminum alloy wheel workpiece made from the high-strength aluminum alloy material and formed with a semi-solid forming method, has a tensile strength of more than 440MPa and an elongation rate of more than 7%; a surface micro-arc oxidation treatment is conducted on the high strength aluminum alloy wheel, so that a dense, firmly bonded and high-hardness ceramic layer can be coated on the surface of the workpiece in-situ, thus greatly improving the resistance to corrosion and surface abrasion of the aluminum alloy wheel, and satisfying the requirements for the usage environment of the high strength aluminum alloy wheel.
