Abstract:
The present invention relates to a biodegradable magnesium alloy and a biodegradable implant using same, wherein the magnesium alloy comprises 0.5 weight% (inclusive) to 3.0 weight% (exclusive) of Zn; 0.0 weight% (inclusive) to 2.0 weight% (inclusive) of Mn; 0.0 weight% (inclusive) to 3.0 weight% (exclusive) of Sr; 0.0 weight% (inclusive) to 2.0 weight% (inclusive) of Ca; and the balance of Mg. According to the composition, there is an advantage of improving the strength and corrosive resistance of the biodegradable magnesium alloy.
