Abstract:
Provided are: a high strength galvanized steel sheet with excellent delayed fracture resistance characteristics resulting from reduction of the amount of diffusible hydrogen in the steel; and a production method therefor. The high strength galvanized steel sheet is provided with: a steel sheet having a specified component composition and a steel structure in which, in area ratio, the total amount of martensite and tempered martensite is at least 30%; and a galvanizing layer formed on the surface of the steel sheet. The amount of diffusible hydrogen obtained from an analysis method is 0.50 wt. ppm or less and the half width of the released hydrogen peak is 70°C or less.
